Hey cat lovers and welcome back to another video today we're doing something very different than usual since i'm a huge gamer we thought it would be fun for me to do a first impressions video of the game stray for those of you who don't know spray is a new video game about cats that has gotten a lot of attention recently so.
Being a cat channel we just had to check it out i'll be doing a playthrough of the first part of the game and then i'll give my thoughts on it just to be clear this video is not sponsored we've just heard a lot of good things about it and wanted to try it out i hope this will help you decide if you want to get the game for yourself or pass on it so.
Without further ado let's get started apparently this takes place in some sort of cyberpunk-esque type future so be interesting to see how that how stray cats are implemented in that oh there it is oh is that one us is that us right there looks like it oh we're a little orange cat that's so.
Cute oh what are we oh we're playing oh my god that's the cutest thing ever oh my god look at it we get to play oh look at that oh this is the cutest thing ever oh we're getting licks this is this is this is already 10 out of 10 best game.
Ever what can i do with you hello oh this is the greatest opening to any game i've ever played ever oh and then they're giving each other bro this is so cute oh this is so precious this is so adorable now what do i do are we sleeping.
I guess we're sleeping we're sleeping now so are these my friends are these my buddies oh all the little ear twitches so is that one like the leader of our group i guess oh is it time to go exploring.
inside the wall i guess this is the first part i already love the aesthetics and just the scenery is just so beautiful oh okay now we're back on the ground press b oh you can meow on command.
Oh that's so great this is everything i've ever wanted come with me my friends oh you got hops well i guess it doesn't make sense you're a cat can i go up here i can you guys coming falling behind what is this oh is this what we're drinking.
Okay this this water is probably not safe but i guess it's better than nothing how do you run faster i want to know how to run faster oh no what's up oh this is i'm gonna do this every single.
Time i get the opportunity to because it's just so adorable birds yep i can walk on the railing look at me look at how look at how tall i am hold a to chain jumps oh.
Oh you could go across down there too oh oh okay so i guess there's a whole bunch of different pathways you can go oh i can like zoom how do i go faster oh right trigger is faster okay oh this is so cool this is so precious what can we go under yes we can we are.
Slinky we are oh hold left trigger to observe okay oh okay so there's multiple different paths i can take or maybe not oh this is precarious oh god seen.
Oh that's terrifying oh oh no oh oh no no oh no oh but i'm okay right i have to be oh.
Oh that's not good i can hear the meows i need to make it back to my friends oh i'm oh i'm hurt oh no oh this is no why is that trash bag moving what is in.
That trash bag i kind of figured it was going to take a sad turn eventually because i i couldn't imagine a game called stray would be the most uplifting thing ever but what the heck is that thing what is that it's like giant ticks am i okay now.
Oh yeah that much better now yeah i just got it just had to sleep it off one durable cat i will give them that or her i guess i can't really tell what it is yet that's where those things went whoa okay the dead city.
Interesting so now we're in the real parts of the suit hi hello uh don't know if i like that yep can i jump up here i can oh so you can just you have hops hello i'm a cat can i just jump down or is it too oh i.
Guess i could jump down here the platforming is very smooth and i really enjoy it and again the atmosphere is just it really does a good job of showing you that these stray cats really do feel like isolated and alone which i think is very important for it to do that.
Because it it is very hard obviously for a stray cat to just survive oh help help it's saying help well i can only imagine that must i have hops for days hello if i okay is somebody like talking to me through this like what is what is.
Happening but that's obviously not something i could do is there something down here i need to do in order to change that maybe what is this a bucket why do i have a bucket i clearly need.
This bucket for something oh wait a minute i think i know what i got to do puzzles okay all right i'm down to clown oh of course you can knock stuff off as a cat why wouldn't you be able to of course that just makes perfect sense now why would it tell me i need to do that do i need to do something with this.
The music is also very nice okay oh i see come on come on and there we go hello follow me to who are you who was talking to me i might as well get some water while i'm.
Here where are all the people in this world i wonder and i go oh oh that's so cute that's so cute i just wrote a little bucket oh that's so adorable oh those things are uh.
I don't know what those things are but oh what is that oh there's more of those things hey what are you guys doing hello oh it's a robot hello hi oh okay oh you can just meow at any time.
Okay i guess we're going up this is so cute but also very soft oh cutscene oh this can't be good oh it's a bunch of those things what are these things uh that's a lot of them don't like that.
Oh yeah don't like that at all okay we're running we're running oh we're okay okay we're running oh these things do not look nice running oh come on you little furball what are these things i don't like these.
Don't like the get that oh oh they jump on you oh i don't like that get off my back get over me get off of me get off me oh okay okay don't like this don't like this don't like this don't like these there's like parasites everywhere i don't like that don't like that i'm gonna go this way cause that's.
What the science telling me to do gonna go here gonna go there oh keep running little buddy get off of me oh get on with me oh this isn't good okay well that was something.
Okay all right well that was slightly terrifying okay uh who is this strange entity that is trying to contact me right now hello so don't know what those bug things were.
All about but i guess we're going to find out later can i jump across this nope nope oh i see yep oh that's not terrifying at all man every cat is basically just.
Spider-man with the way that they can just move around i swear yep oh can i push this push guess up here up here and in here oh it's cold in here.
Wait do i have to oh my goodness okay then i jump on here oh wow i have serious hops uh i guess down here and then down here i'm trying to figure out where is everybody because there's got to be obviously people in this world otherwise there wouldn't be houses oh okay oh.
All right i'm not going to ask that question again not going to ask it i'm okay we're good we're good you're good little buddy now where do i go from here oh up uh oh i see what i'm supposed to do here huh and go across like so.
Man cats are smart they're extreme this just shows also how smart they are because being able to just survive in these kind of conditions with the little that you have for the little or next to nothing that you have is insanely like impressive like me as a human i wouldn't be able to do this.
The security cameras watching me which tells me that something's going on here now what go over here and then up here then up there i guess oh wait what's that there's a thing here oh i took out the battery oh okay interesting okay so now i can get up here through the vent.
The flat so i guess this is an apartment building we're going through very very cool alright so i think that's gonna wrap up my initial first impressions of this game at first i gotta say this looks incredible i've had so much fun playing this so far in terms of just first impressions and final thoughts it is adorable the cats are.
Extremely realistic the story is fantastic the atmosphere is great the sound design is awesome it's just overall incredibly pleasant and i'm definitely going to continue playing this on my own if you guys want to pick it up for yourselves we'll have a link in the description below and if you guys want to continue watching a full.
