Despite centuries of exploration and scientific research, much of the world’s oceans remain unexplored, and we have only scratched the surface of our understanding of this vast, mysterious realm.
It is estimated that we have explored less than twenty percent of the world’s oceans, with much of the remaining eighty percent still largely uncharted and unknown.
This is due in part to the sheer size and depth of the oceans, as well as the challenges involved in studying them.
